WIAW #2 – We Be Grillin

 Another wonderful What-I_Ate-Wednesday!  We were supposed to grill on a night these HUGE thunderstorms decided to roll into town, so I saved the corn on the cob and beef and chicken kabobs for another night.  They were marinating in a spicy glaze for  whole day and they ended up being delicious….

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 strips of apple cinnamon bacon, Kale, half a grapefruit, and a few tablespoons of greek yogurt with cinnamon.  I used the bacon grease to cook the eggs and kale, so I just added a sprinkle of sea salt to the kale and some trechas chile powder on the grapefruit.

Lunch: organic butternut squash soup with 2 pieces of Udi’s gluten free bread.  And maybe a dash of feta cheese.

Snack:  Protein shake with blueberries, spinach, chia seeds, and almond milk

And the grand finale…

Dinner:

Delicious salad!!  Spinach, carrots, cashews, blueberries, and topped with the glazed beef from the kebabs

And the corn that had been marinating in salt, pepper, and sriracha sauce, butternut squash, and chicken and beef kebabs.
